About long distance moving
A long distance move is anything past roughly 400 miles, and it is where the difference between a carrier and a broker actually shows. We load your shipment onto our truck, our driver takes it to the destination, and the same company answers the phone the whole way.
What is included
- In-home or video survey before the estimate
- Written binding or not-to-exceed estimate
- Full protective wrapping for furniture and case goods
- Disassembly and reassembly of beds, tables and large items
- Loading, interstate transport and delivery on an agreed window
- One coordinator from first call through delivery
Worth knowing
Ask any long distance mover whether your shipment shares a trailer with other households. Consolidated loads are cheaper but widen the delivery window, and you deserve to know which you are buying before you sign.
